Tajikistan - Human Rights - The most youngest homeless. More than 160 families were forced to leave a former dormitory that was sold by the Dushanbe authorities. - 22Aug2006 - More than 160 families (about 500 persons) became homeless after the Dushanbe mayor denied to support them against a private firm that bought the Soviet-time dormitory at the auction. They were forced to live outside the building without any elementary conditions. Many of them are women and children. According to Tajik law many of them have a right to became owner of their flats, since they had been living there for more than 10 years.
